Matthew 3:1~17
Matthew 3:1 In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea, 2 I MC VC
Matthew 3:2 And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. 25 I MC VC
Matthew 3:3 For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. 8 I MC VC
Matthew 3:4 And the same John had his raiment of camel’s hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; and his meat was locusts and wild honey. MC VC
Matthew 3:5 Then went out to him Jerusalem, and all Judaea, and all the region round about Jordan, 2 I MC VC
Matthew 3:6 And were baptized of him in Jordan, confessing their sins. 4 I MC VC
Matthew 3:7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come? MC VC
Matthew 3:8 Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance: 2 I MC VC
Matthew 3:9 And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. MC VC
Matthew 3:10 And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 10 I MC VC
Matthew 3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance. but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: 6 I MC VC
Matthew 3:12 Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire. 6 I MC VC
Matthew 3:13 Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him. MC VC
Matthew 3:14 But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me? 4 I MC VC
Matthew 3:15 And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him. MC VC
Matthew 3:16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: 6 I MC VC
Matthew 3:17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. 12 I MC VC
Matthew 11:2~19
Matthew 11:2 Now when John had heard in the prison the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples, MC VC
Matthew 11:3 And said unto him, Art thou he that should come, or do we look for another? 2 I MC VC
Matthew 11:4 Jesus answered and said unto them, Go and shew John again those things which ye do hear and see: 2 I MC VC
Matthew 11:5 The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them. MC VC
Matthew 11:6 And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me. 10 I MC VC
Matthew 11:7 And as they departed, Jesus began to say unto the multitudes concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken with the wind? MC VC
Matthew 11:8 But what went ye out for to see? A man clothed in soft raiment? behold, they that wear soft clothing are in kings’ houses. MC VC
Matthew 11:9 But what went ye out for to see? A prophet? yea, I say unto you, and more than a prophet. MC VC
Matthew 11:10 For this is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee. 2 I MC VC
Matthew 11:11 Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. 8 I MC VC
Matthew 11:12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force. 3 I MC VC
Matthew 11:13 For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John. MC VC
Matthew 11:14 And if ye will receive it, this is Elias, which was for to come. MC VC
Matthew 11:15 He that hath ears to hear, let him hear. 2 I MC VC
Matthew 11:16 But whereunto shall I liken this generation? It is like unto children sitting in the markets, and calling unto their fellows, 7 I MC VC
Matthew 11:17 And saying, We have piped unto you, and ye have not danced; we have mourned unto you, and ye have not lamented. 7 I MC VC
Matthew 11:18 For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, He hath a devil. MC VC
Matthew 11:19 The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man gluttonous, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners. But wisdom is justified of her children. MC VC
Mark 1:2~11

Mark 1:4 John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins. 8 I MC VC
Mark 1:5 And there went out unto him all the land of Judaea, and they of Jerusalem, and were all baptized of him in the river of Jordan, confessing their sins. 8 I MC VC
Mark 1:6 And John was clothed with camel’s hair, and with a girdle of a skin about his loins; and he did eat locusts and wild honey; MC VC
Mark 1:7 And preached, saying, There cometh one mightier than I after me, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to stoop down and unloose. 10 I MC VC
Mark 1:8 I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost. 6 I MC VC
Mark 1:9 And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan. MC VC
Mark 1:10 And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him: 7 I MC VC
Mark 1:11 And there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. 5 I MC VC
Mark 6:14~29
Mark 6:14 And king Herod heard of him; (for his name was spread abroad:) and he said, That John the Baptist was risen from the dead, and therefore mighty works do shew forth themselves in him. MC VC
Mark 6:15 Others said, That it is Elias. And others said, That it is a prophet, or as one of the prophets. MC VC
Mark 6:16 But when Herod heard thereof, he said, It is John, whom I beheaded: he is risen from the dead. MC VC
Mark 6:17 For Herod himself had sent forth and laid hold upon John, and bound him in prison for Herodias’ sake, his brother Philip’s wife: for he had married her. MC VC
Mark 6:18 For John had said unto Herod, It is not lawful for thee to have thy brother’s wife. MC VC
Mark 6:19 Therefore Herodias had a quarrel against him, and would have killed him; but she could not: MC VC
Mark 6:20 For Herod feared John, knowing that he was a just man and an holy, and observed him; and when he heard him, he did many things, and heard him gladly. MC VC
Mark 6:21 And when a convenient day was come, that Herod on his birthday made a supper to his lords, high captains, and chief estates of Galilee; MC VC
Mark 6:22 And when the daughter of the said Herodias came in, and danced, and pleased Herod and them that sat with him, the king said unto the damsel, Ask of me whatsoever thou wilt, and I will give it thee. MC VC
Mark 6:23 And he sware unto her, Whatsoever thou shalt ask of me, I will give it thee, unto the half of my kingdom. MC VC
Mark 6:24 And she went forth, and said unto her mother, What shall I ask? And she said, The head of John the Baptist. MC VC
Mark 6:25 And she came in straightway with haste unto the king, and asked, saying, I will that thou give me by and by in a charger the head of John the Baptist. MC VC
Mark 6:26 And the king was exceeding sorry; yet for his oath’s sake, and for their sakes which sat with him, he would not reject her. MC VC
Mark 6:27 And immediately the king sent an executioner, and commanded his head to be brought: and he went and beheaded him in the prison, MC VC
Mark 6:28 And brought his head in a charger, and gave it to the damsel: and the damsel gave it to her mother. MC VC
Mark 6:29 And when his disciples heard of it, they came and took up his corpse, and laid it in a tomb. MC VC
